Language is the source code of thought. Just like code compiles into programs, language compiles into ideas. If your language lacks a concept, you likely lack the idea too.

Unbelievable that people would think that the National Dialogue is a necessity. Have they forgotten how useless the "unburdening" initiative led by parts of civil society, church leaders, and academics in 2016-17 was? It was meant to stem corruption, but we all know it did not.
[WATCH] Cosatu spokesperson Zanele Sabela says SA needs a national dialogue as there's a lot going on in the country. Sabela says they're, however, disappointed that legacy foundations have pulled out of the convention. She says they hope they reconsider their decision before

Mbeki’s imbizo programme started in 2005 promised to fix service delivery through community engagement. It became event politics with a participatory gloss. Ramaphosa’s ‘national dialogue’ will be no different, succeeding only as an income generator for a predatory civil society.
[WATCH] Thabo Mbeki Foundation's Bongani Kupe says they have been working for a year to conceptualise how the national dialogue should unfold. Kupe says they wanted it to be different from other imbizos. #Newzroom405

There’s nothing wrong with tenders. Public procurement everywhere is open to abuse because tax money is risk-free. The problem isn’t the system, it’s the people, their ethics, and the will to come down hard on transgressors.
[WATCH] "Government will no longer go on a tender. No one will stop me." Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi says the province is introducing a new phase of Nasi Ispani, which will provide training for people to do work that is currently being done through tenders. #Newzroom405

Isn't it rich - Zimbabweans claiming Human Rights in every single country around the world, except their own.
On 11 November 2020 Mr Mark Dillon (Head of Information & Evidence Unit) @IntlCrimCourt acknowledged a complaint I filed against South Africa for crimes against humanity. More evidence of crimes against humanity have been collected & shall be submitted to the ICC this week!

You're not a "comedian," you're a self-appointed sensitivity meter that only overloads when the K-word is dropped. Coloured people must take racism as "jokes," but one slur your way and it's Equality Court speedrun time. Miss us with that selective outrage.
Coloured people you guys are too sensitive man. Open chat broers insult everyone man but its just for jokes. They don't mean it man lol

The revolutions South Africa desperately needs:.🛠 Service Delivery Revolution.🚫 Anti-Corruption Revolution.📈 Productivity Revolution .The forever revolution we keep getting: .🧠 National Democratic Revolution™ with no delivery, no trust, and no tide to turn.
If the ANC falters, the revolution falters. But if we act decisively, restore trust, and renew our purpose, then this NEC and this generation of leadership can yet turn the tide.

Shameless entitlement!.

When I was in the ANC, I was a Comrade. In the EFF, I became a Fighter. Now in the MKP, I'm a Commander. At this rate, by 2029 I’ll be Field Marshal of the Republic of Party-Hoppers. 🫡.
This weekend we supported Commander XOLANI MGXOTHENI our candidate for the coming by-election in Ward 23,Motherwell in Gqeberha,NMB Metro. We did door to door campaigns & he also addressed meetings in different Voting Districts!. #ThaaaaaathaMgxotheniThatha!🥊.#GwazaMkhontoGwaz!✊🏾

Calling everyone worried about migration “fascist” is exactly the kind of smug, preachy arrogance that cost the left votes in the US. People don’t respond well to being labeled, they tune out. Dismissing real concerns with moral grandstanding just drives them elsewhere.
IMRAAN BUCCUS | In South Africa, we now have to contend with an undeniably fascist movement of our own, Operation Dudula. It is militarised in structure and language, extreme in its nationalism, and openly hostile to democracy.

One of the major deficiencies in MMT thinking is the idea that increased "spending" produces increased performance for the targeted objective. And while they use a fancy accounting equation to show how money supply is maintained, it does not show how value is derived.

Every country hit by US tariffs should blame the ANC? Really? Calling tariffs "the bitter fruit of ANC denial" while ignoring that the current US president’s tariff stance predates 1994 is peak Afriforum revisionism and wildly IGNORANT.
US tariffs are the bitter fruit of ANC’s denial - AfriForum. "AfriForum repeatedly warned the ANC-led government that attempts to falsely dismiss the US’s criticism and concerns as the result of so-called 'disinformation' would not succeed.".

It's kind of simpleton thinking to assume that tariff levied on US importers will automatically lead to job losses in SA. There's a lot that can be done to maintain SA products' competitiveness in that country, such as revisiting SA margins known to be notoriously high.
Shit, now the jobs massacre starts 😓via @News24_Business.

It doesn’t matter that an idea isn’t an invention, but it does matter when people pretend it is, especially when billions are at stake. Emotion doesn’t rewrite contract law.
Vodacom must just pay Makate his worth. Black people must not be financially undermined for their inventions that make billions for these companies. Once again, the Judiciary has failed black people.

Hate to say, but I'm with Afriforum on this one.
Major victory for @afriforum and Pretoria residents in court!. The High Court has declared the @CityTshwane Metro Council’s new “cleansing levy” unlawful and invalid, and set it aside. This means significant savings for residents, as the municipality can no longer attempt to

The Skills Development levy is one of the biggest policy failures in post-Apartheid South Africa. Like most government administered easy money schemes it has produced an industry of grifters and bloodsucking con-artists. Free basic income & the NHI are waiting in the wings!.
🚨R21bn in SETAs. Still no skills. Still no value. #OUTA is demanding urgent action from the new Minister of Higher Education Buti Manamela over the chaos inside SETAs. Whistleblowers punished. Reports ignored. Youth left behind. 📑Read full detailed release:.

Centuries later and still the undisputed champions of eternal victimhood. Leadership without agency keeps blaming history while dodging responsibility. Africa deserves better than this tired script, Mr President.
For centuries, Africa has paid the price for the rapid industrial development of the Global North. Our people were enslaved and subjugated, our land was occupied, our natural resources were stolen.
