Since posting about the wall system below, I've run across similar sites also in Austin. The system surrounds the entire building site with the purpose of noise control. The system mitigates construction noise for surrounding properties and allows for 24/7 construction.
Do you recognize this wall system? I don't. It appears to be a sound barrier as part of an industrial building located next to the offramp of a major highway in TX. Note that the slab is poured after erection of the barrier and that a ~10" gap exists between the slab and

Court reporting should go the way of the dinosaur. Seems to me that Ai can record and transcribe with more accuracy with zero cost. Such a simple way to streamline a bureaucratic process and bring efficiency to government. Simply buy out the existing CRs and implement.

The Mad Builder brings up a good point. Work adds purpose to life for all. Some of us are wired in a way that makes time off unenjoyable. Is it fear of complacency or failure, or the thrill of accomplishment that drives us entrepreneurs?.
Am I the only one that dreams of the day I no longer have to run a business that involves my full attention . &. Then has a 3 day weekend and can’t wait to get back to the grind Monday.

The first tenet of success is survival. In financial terms, capital preservation equals survival. Don't chase real estate in a rising rate environment!.
To be clear, I’m not saying don’t invest right now. If the right deal comes along and the numbers working with conservative underwriting, consider it. But seeing a lot of “screw it, I’m going for it” mentality out there again. People are tired of waiting. Be patient.
