I can finally say I’ve played Risk 2210 AD by @Hasbro / @AvalonHill with design work by Rob Daviau and Craig Van Ness. There are elements I appreciated, some that didn’t thrill me. My wife and kiddo both enjoyed it though so that’s a win.

Survive was ahead of its time in my opinion. As old as I am yet had more agency and hidden information than most games of its era. Super approachable, quick, funny, but strategic as well. Lots of love for this old title. My @StrongholdGames copy will never leave my collection

As someone who has played and sold countless games of Survive: Escape from Atlantis! I am happy/shocked to see Zygomatic bringing out/back Survive: The Island. I hope it's just as good if not better and that it continues to be a fantastic intro to hobby games for people.

While at Spiel I saw that @hobbyjapan_eng had R-Eco+ but it already sold out. I’m already a fan of the @Zmangames_ version of R-Eco (it was one of my grails for a while. Super excited to hunt down and try the new variant game!

I picked up Coffee Rush by Euijin Han and produced by @koreaboardgames after a lovely dinner and playtest of another game from KBG. Not gonna lie the pieces alone have me ready to play ASAP, as well as digging into the design

I got to attend Spiel in Essen this year as part of the @NorthStarGames booth staff. It was a rad experience and I hope to visit again!

Pre-Essen woes: Thursday night I got sick, been trying to spend as much time with my kid as possible this weekend while feeling like a blob. Tonight before bed he asked to use my wife’s phone and sent me this text. He asked if I got his text, I checked, we both cried. ❤️ ya kiddo

The kiddo was enjoying helping me mark some previously unplayed games off my list until Dicemasters: D&D Battle for Faerun (by @Elliott_Games @eric_lang and @wizkidsgames ) came out. Two games later he’s taking a break while muttering about unfair dice rolls.

After Pandemic this morning the kiddo goes “you know what we should play now?!” (I know what he’s going to say) Flash Point Fire Rescue (by @IBCGames ) One of our most played games. Can’t wait for Legacy to deliver! Re-gluing some trays after years of play
