In a nailbiter, a Patrick McNulty goal in the last minute broke Galway hearts with Donegal lifting the Shield on a scoreline of 1-6 to 0-8. Captain and player of the match Sean McDaid's role as sweeper was pivotal in turning over numerous tribesmen attacks.
