Our last GWiCS event of the academic year is today!! . At 5pm we will be live-watching an upcoming ACM Tech Talk by Felienne Herman on how the history of programming languages, gender, feminism and CS came to be so male dominated. Snacks and drinks included!

Another GWiCS event is coming up next Monday!. Dr Sara Jabbari from the University of Birmingham School of Mathematics is here to share their efforts improving the experiences of minority staff and students in their institution!. Join on Mon 16th 11am in SAWB 423, or on Teams!

UPDATE: This seminar is now on June 4th!. We are hosting a watch party of a fantastic plenary talk by Dr Anne Cori. `SIR or MADAM' is a thorough and highly digestible dive into the ways that privilege and demographic factors shape academic careers. There will also be snacks!
