@doctorveera I was just saying this is under appreciated. We have much to gain from genetic studies of other populations - such as when they have higher allele frequencies of disease variants present in the US. Even w/o clinical utility, the resulting mechanistic clues can have a huge impact.
@scottmwilliams9 The diversity aspect is likely to be misunderstood as it suggests global benefits on its face. But the main beneficiary in the short and mid terms is the US. Like a magnifying glass, non US populations could yield new genes/variations to solve Alzheimer's etiological puzzle.
