Maryland parents scored a huge victory last month when the courts upheld their right to opt their children out of lessons that include LGBTQ materials and messaging. MCPS has not made that process easy! Indeed, they are doing all they can to fight this Supreme Court decision.

Whether or not you agree w M4L or not, they are right about this. Violence in @MCPS schools, even “the good ones,” has gotten out of control. The only school to prison pipeline factors in MCPS are the lack of appropriate disciplinary practices & supports. SROs are needed again.
