LGBTQ+ students at schools with an LGBTQ+ inclusive curriculum, including affirming books, have higher GPAs, are less likely to hear anti-LGBTQ remarks at school, and are less likely to miss school due to feeling unsafe.

CT K-12 School Staff: Request a FREE set of LGBTQ+ affirming books! For locations not already on our waitlist, GLSEN will be sending LGBTQ+ affirming text sets to schools to the following counties in fall 2021: Fairfield, Litchfield, Middlesex, New London, Tolland, and Windham.
