Rising three places for 2025 are now open. We offer half day sessions for January and April intakes. Nursery places for 2025 are also now available. Here at Gilfach Fargoed, we are one of few schools within the Caerphilly area who offer full day provision 9.00am - 3.00pm 💚

The application procedure is currently open for nursery September 2025. The application is also open whether your child is already with us or if you would like them to attend Reception 2025. The deadline is quickly approaching on December 13th!.

Nursery were super excited yesterday releasing their butterflies. We even had one butterfly who loved the attention and let every child have a hold of them 🦋💚

The children had a lot of fun building a seesaw in our construction area. They investigated the ideal number of logs high, an appropriate midpoint, and the best location for people to sit on the log without slipping off 💚 @EAS_EarlyYears

This afternoon we released our beautiful butterflies into our school garden 🦋 We have LOVED watching the life cycle of a caterpillar over the last few weeks.

Some lovely observational drawings from nursery this afternoon. They loved finding their own butterfly, watching them fly and giving them some fresh fruit. With a little bit of help from the grown ups, we even helped one who got stuck in his chrysalis 🦋
