Labour council bosses' claims that they've hired a team of people to patrol "every street, every week" are ludicrous- they've hired 6 people. Why can't Cllr Garrod and his colleagues just be honest with people, instead of trying to spin everything.

Labour asked for consensus on the need for homes. They had that when we supported the purchase of temporary accommodation, as it represents better value for money in a construction environment that has seen zero homes built by Merton. In the meantime, demand has increased by 300%
