Sometimes people ask me where Nebraska football went wrong. I have one answer: 2002 NU jerseys. In the 20 years prior to wearing them- a .855 win %. In the 20 years after - .563 win %. Jerseys matter folks, it's the only explanation. Thank you for attending my Ted Talk.

I will die on the hill that these are the alternate jerseys Nebraska should have gotten this year. A fully committed, true throwback, styled like the '18 alternates. No helmet decals, just straight leather brown color. Also true brown pants, not the gold/greens.

Here's a rare one: 2020 Nebraska Alt. Don't remember it? Because it never happened. NU did a Halloween themed trailer/vid to debut this style. 10/31 rolled around, Wisc had covid, & had to cancel. Was it to be worn then? Who knows! Really rare to see. Will it ever come back? 🤔

Carlos Polk (13) days until Nebraska football! This was worn in 1997 and during the Orange Bowl against Peyton Manning/Tenn. Nebraska captured their 5th national championship with this win. An All-American and Husker legend.

Horrible to hear about the passing of Dahrran Diedrick. I never had the pleasure of knowing him personally, but he was a hell of a ball player, and I've only heard teammates say the best things. Gone way too soon. Pictured is his game used helmet.

game worn blackshirt alternate from 11/21/2020. Dismuke had 4 total tackles, 3 solo. This was the last time these were worn, and were only given to players that earned blackshirts in '19 and '20.

In FBS: Devine is tied for 8th in rushing touchdowns (12) and 5th in yards per carry (7.54). He's 3rd in YPC when you look at players in Power 5. Tough running + Pipeline = Results.

Historic jersey: 1990 Kenny Walker game used Nebraska jersey. Walker was an All American & Outland semifinalist. I believe I have this matched to the 1990 Senior Day when fans signed "applause" to Walker, who is deaf. This became known as the loudest ovation that nobody heard.

Here is my proposal for a 2024 Nebraska alternate. A 30th anniversary tribute to the 1994 team that brought TO his first championship as head coach. Honor those players/coaches in a reunion weekend and these jerseys. Helmets/pants need no changes.

1996 Jared Tomich Nebraska game used jersey. NU had two versions of each color in '96 - varsity & pro block fonts. Varsity was used more often & later was worn in Orange Bowl. This pro block shows great usage of a former walk-on turned All-American & Lombardi Finalist.

With the game tomorrow, it's only appropriate to share. Hard to pin down exact player usage because photomatches are difficult and they wore worn over a period of time. Based on numbers they could have been used by greats such as John Pitts, Joe Buda, and Maury Damkroger.

Super Bowl week! Not a SB jersey, but cool Eagles jersey from Nebraska legend Alex Henery. Looks to have been worn on 8/24/14 in last game as Eagle. As a Husker, Henery set NCAA records in accuracy and is NUs all-time leading scorer. Available for sale, DM if interested.

2007 Cory Schlesinger jersey. Cory was on the Dolphins for 4 preseason games in '07 after leaving the Lions. This style was worn 2 of these games. Jersey hows some wear and faint yellow stains down the side. Wear/stains would be consistent with Cory's final NFL game at Saints.

A cool addition! Game used Nebraska Mikale Wilbon jersey. Wilbon ended his career with 510 rushing yards and 6 TDs as a Husker. Hard to beat the iconic home jersey!

Got some really cool new additions today. Craig Johnson 1980 home jersey. Fellow collectors will know the rarity of these tearaways that were literally thrown away after each game. As an RB, Johnson had over 1400 yards from scrimmage over his career.

Doug DuBose game used away jersey. Jersey shows good use and wear from the All-Big RB. DuBose had back to back 1000 yard rushing seasons in '84-'85. DuBose ended his career with 14 100-yard rushing games and 2205 career rushing yards.
