Going through the code on this one is fascinating. At the time, I didn't know string objects could hold multiple paragraphs. So I swapped positions of multiple string objects to show different lines of dialogue. Got to appreciate my past self's inventiveness even if it's janky.

I'm enjoying this series of old Fusion games very much! I wish more people would post their old games.
Another upcoming legacy game. A Zelda-inspired sidescroller from August 2005. Considering I only just learned Clickteam Fusion a month prior, there's surprisingly a lot of depth. You can stab or slash your sword and you can even charge up a super mode.

Nice! Nostalgic sound effects for sure :-)
When going back and updating this game after a decade, I thought I might add a new music track. For authenticity, I chose to limit myself only to soundfonts that I had access to in 2014 to make it sound like something I would have made at the time.
