Eddie (John Jenkins) & Billy (Chris Mulkey) in PATTI ROCKS (1987). In 1975, they played the same characters in LOOSE ENDS. We made many efforts to release the latter, along w/PR, but there are licensing issues related to music cues & footage from another, very well-known film.

Often misremembered as a juvenile comedy, David Burton Morris’ 'Patti Rocks' (1988) is a work of strange beauty about ugly characters.

RIP to Israeli-American DP Adam Greenberg who passed away on October 30 and was responsible for the look of the some of the biggest films of the '80s and '90s...plus PARADISE (1982). 😉
PARADISE DP Adam Greenberg shot the hit LEMON POPSICLE & its remake, LAST AMERICAN VIRGIN. Moving from Israel to the U.S., he lensed big hits THE TERMINATOR & T2, NEAR DARK, GHOST & more. After working w/PARADISE's Phoebe Cates, he shot DAVE, starring Mr. Cates aka Kevin Kline.

“It was February of 1980 when we filmed that. So, just put that in your pipe and smoke it. So, punk was already there and getting only more so. It’s lovely to say I was a part of it in whatever little way that I could be as a 15-year old girl in the film industry.” - Diane Lane

One of my favourite movies and it was a delight to create a video essay for the @FunCityEdition release.
On this day November 1st, 2002, Lynne Ramsay's MORVERN CALLAR opened in London. Ramsay's film is one of my favourite re-discoveries of recent years thanks to @FunCityEdition 2k restoration Blu-Ray. Also features a great video essay from @chrisoneill99 ..

Schenectady native John Sayles had a birthday yesterday. He called Hoboken home when he made BABY IT'S YOU in 1982, which we were delighted to release on Blu-ray earlier this year. Get our disc and see a brand-new, in-depth interview with Mr. Sayles. 👇💿 https://t.co/YJO61yhZ8r

Ad for the '85 "Summer Music Film Fest" in Venice, the LA opening for FABULOUS STAINS. "A gritty, driving tale of a disillusioned, unswervingly ruthless teenager," wrote Kevin Thomas in the @latimes. Also on the bill was our friends Seventy-Seven's DREAD BEAT AN BLOOD.
