It's insane these two almost made it to Season 4. It's a shame they got cut but I get it. Repainting Bill (or Ben idk) into Pug would have been a bold move. Wonder if jinty would have been a completely new prop? We'll probably never know

S7 is far from perfect, it's writing really takes a bit overall (still some real winners of course) but I really wish it was the direction the series leaned into during its age of intellectual rot. A large bustling ensemble is so much better than one when the cast is Thomas^2

S7's biggest strength (imo) is it's the only real time the show gets the Ensemble Cast feeling the books had, Murdoch barely interacts with main cast here but it in turn makes him and him feel a lot more grounded. It's a shame he never got a chance to do more, I like Murdoch

Stories we think are cool!!! Peace & Quiet has always been a favorite of mine in S7. It's not an action pact episode but it gives you so much time with it's new lead he comes out maybe the most defined of the seasons cast? Pairing him with two B tiers is phenomenal.

He would lock in for exactly one of them and no one else. Who this is is completely random and absolutely unknowable. (Murdoch would have a Boston accent)
