#OnThisDay in 1780, French artist Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres was born. Ingres' stunning "Comtesse d'Haussonville" was one of the highlights of our recent exhibition, Vermeer, Monet, Rembrandt this spring. We miss seeing her in our galleries!
