Hey @seth_hearld how interesting is this? Hopefully they’re saving this for the Mid-Ro AAR packet.

Since Redlegs are known for their creativity, we thought we'd share one of their favorite poems.

Absolutely … when I tell people that the most common-sense unit I ever served in is also Airborne, their heads explode.* Silks-Waffles-LVL5. LVL7 if you’re static. Burn everything else. *not literally, you’d have heard about that by now

“Oh, look … the JV team is having an argument about those fleece jackets again.” Do yourself a favor, and get a Knuckle Roaster. Fire supporters with loving JTACs in their life already know about these. For everybody else, there’s a NSN.

Today, at age 44, I learned about “overtype mode” in MS Word and I tell you, it feels great.

Maybe every BN Cmd team feels like this, but for 2 years I went into work feeling like we had somehow cheated the system and all of the talent in the branch was concentrated in our unit. No surprise when I see our jr leaders out there crushing it as CPTs & 1SGs Thx @RichUSA82 !

One way to tell if maybe you spent too much time at JRTC is when your kids can draw this from memory, over a year later.

I hope all of the fire supporters (and aspiring maneuver commanders) out there are bookmarking these … @seth_hearld is only going to be at JRTC for so long.
@x96387 Sir, regardless of echelon it comes down to a few simple things: 1) CDR buy-in and guidance..cannot overstate the importance of this. 2) Education, I'll touch on this shortly. 3) Common understanding of the problem we must solve. 4) Teamwork. 5) Accountability. 6) Repetition 1/

Before everybody gets their stetsons in a bind, this is a good-natured poke at the quarterly #miltwitter food fight regarding “bUt thE AIrbOrnes arE ObsoLEEted”

Some legit “Pete Carroll on Sunday Night Football” level enthusiasm in the house this week; we’re beyond excited to join the team at @WestPoint_USMA next summer. Just the perfect confluence of something I want to do for the Army, and hands-down the best spot for the family.

Destroy the truck(s) at H-:15 because your targeting process is nails, your IC team is well-trained, and you rehearsed the operation well .... next question. #ArtilleryTwitter #FiresTwitter
How do you defend against two hundred of these coming at you in a swarm, launched from the back of a single truck

The Army ... let’s be frank, it can suck at times. But then you see a team mate making a positive impact 15 years after the long deployment w/ @PantherBrigade & you realize that the people make it worthwhile. It’s always been the people. Still is.

Colin Sesek joined the army as a combat medic straight out of high school, in 2006 he deployed to Iraq with the 82nd Airborne and now there's a play about his experience.

I’m OK w/ the notion that in my current role, I’m neither “key” nor “essential” ... but, that means I don’t have a COVID vaccine card yet to show & promote it as something that responsible leaders emulate. In the meantime, pls enjoy these photos of M777s and cute lil’ ducklings

KING OF THE BATTLE OF THE BULGE: A THREAD IN 11 TWEETS Few campaigns have exemplified the versatility, courage, & aggressiveness of the American artillery as well as the Battle of Bastogne. The battle illustrates what well-managed artillery can do in support of light infantry.
