Wonderful to see this out! Growing up hearing stories of impact/legacy of the Civil War on my home village of Kilflynn is a major reason I became a historian in the first place. Hopefully I've shown how what happened there was really a microcosm of the entire national conflict.
There's a new book on the shelves! 🎉🥂 Welcome The Civil War in Kerry and Beyond: Histories, memories and legacies by Bridget McAuliffe, Mary McAuliffe and Owen O’Shea, editors AVAILABLE NOW in all good local bookshops and on our website: https://t.co/YiYimvLPJO

I love stained glass - the light, colour, texture - it makes me content. David Caron’s Dublin’s Stained Glass is more than a book: it’s a love-letter to our luminous heritage & both it & The Gazetteer of Irish Stained Glass are stunningly beautiful.
