Grass-roots group taking a stand against destructive logging in Victoria's native forests on stolen land. For wildlife, water security, & a safe climate.
Victoria, Australia

BREAKING: today @DanielAndrewsMP gov introduced dangerous changes to forest protest laws, $21,000 in fines or 12 months in jail for stopping logging. Disgraceful, heavy-handed, draconian laws designed to stop communities from acting to protect forests. This will not silence us.

Fewer than 10 of these orchids remain in the wild. Victoria was about to burn them into extinction. When asked, Forest Fire Management Victoria did not explain why burns were planned in an area containing the last known population #FFMV

How many examples does @VicGovAu need? Our precious wildlife & their habitats need proper oversight to survive. "@FFMVic did not explain why burns were originally planned in an area containing the last known population of a critically endangered orchid" https://t.co/EDMMaxJ89w

When youâre an environment minister like @tanya_plibersek, itâs all about getting the balance right between saying the right thing and doing the wrong thing for the environment. #auspol #climatechange

Approving three coal mines in 2024 is the opposite of climate action. And just weeks away from hosting a global summit on being 'Nature Positive'? It just doesn't stack up... @AlboMP @tanya_plibersek @Bowenchris

What. Is. The. Point. Of. @AustralianLabor?
BREAKING - horrible news! The Albanese Government has just approved THREE massive new coal mine expansions - Mt Pleasant, Narrabri Underground, and Ashton. These projects will be responsible for more than 1.4 billion tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions combined.

Labor has just approved 3 new coal projects in a single day. A betrayal of our environment, the science, and everyone who voted for climate action. This Government cannot be trusted to fight this crisis.

Iâm so disappointed at the Labor Party @TanyaPlibersek teaming up with LNP to block ending the exemption of native forest logging under EPBC. Years wasted. #auspol
Iâm so disappointed at the Greens, Liberals and One Nation teaming up again to block much needed housing for Australians. Nearly a year wasted already. @sunriseon7
