What did the Greeks ever do for me? Year 3 have throughly enjoyed creating mini pots in the style of the ancient Greeks. We have explored and practised different artistic patterns and had at go at using sculpting techniques such as coiling and pinching using clay.

A group of our choir children performed at Asda as part of the Tickled Pink campaign. Despite having only 3 rehearsals before the event, they all sang their hearts out and sounded fantastic, some children even had the confidence to sing solos! #confidence @FlyingHighTrust

Year 3 have been working hard in DT, planning, analysing, making and evaluating their very own Trojan Horse. Using the story of the Trojan Horse from Ancient Greece, they made a Trojan Horse with a moveable part and a part to conceal something inside.

Our FS2 children took a train trip to Nottingham to explore how city life is different from their town of Sutton-in-Ashfield. For some of our children, it was their very first time on a train or even their first visit to Nottingham. Thank you to our parent helpers! 🚂 #curiosity
