Year 3 have been working hard in DT, planning, analysing, making and evaluating their very own Trojan Horse. Using the story of the Trojan Horse from Ancient Greece, they made a Trojan Horse with a moveable part and a part to conceal something inside.

What did the Greeks ever do for me? Year 3 have throughly enjoyed creating mini pots in the style of the ancient Greeks. We have explored and practised different artistic patterns and had at go at using sculpting techniques such as coiling and pinching using clay.

A group of children from years 5 and 6 attended an event at Community Recording studios, where they met Prince Harry and representatives from Children in Need. The children enjoyed performances by young studio attendees and even got their photos with the Prince!
