Good or bad for Burberry sales - what do we reckon? #BUR

Credit to the @Stocksandsaving podcast for bringing this one to my attention, and to @StockMarketNerd, whose Twitter is a treasure trove of information on this company.

- 83% of customers use the app at least once a month. This isn't a "download and forget" app. People don't just actively use the app; their expenditure increases month after month once they sign up. -

- Monthly per customer revenue +18% but costs per customer fell 3%. Customers are spending considerably more (but costing less) each month. A rare company where increases in revenue fall straight through to the bottom line

Bull points: - Expanding rapidly in Mexico and Colombia, already well established in Brazil (w/ 57% penetration) - Expanding from current accounts into credit cards, crypto, loans, insurance and investments - Investment in TymeBank (10%) gives South African and Asian exposure

Key figures: - Sales CAGR of 85% since 2021 - Price to Sales 4.4 - Fwd PE of 19 - Net margin 17% - 17% market penetration in Latin America, growing fast

I opened a small starter position in $NU New Holdings Ltd (NYSE) - "a digital banking group that provides a range of app-based financial services to individuals and businesses in Latin America and other regions" 🧵

This was one of my favourite presentations at @_investorsummit this year I now have 3% of my SIPP invested in #LWDB and will look to add. Such an easy way to get exposure to UK value, and with a fantastic track record.

#BATS proceeds reinvested into a mix of #SNWS Smiths News, #SSLN iShares Physical Silver and #YCA Yellow Cake (ranked largest > smallest by value) I also topped up #AAF Airtel Africa and #URNG Global X Uranium ETF in my ISA.

#TET Treatt directors seem happy for the company to be taken over for 260p, a price the shares last traded at in June 😔 Down from 1200p in 2021! It's been on my watchlist for 5yrs+ but I feel like I firmly dodged a bullet here Commiserations to holders - you deserved better
