‘The revolution, it seems, will be published after all.’ ❤️🪔
And so it happens. Heart Lamp makes history by winning the International @TheBookerPrizes 2025, the first short story collection to ever do so. What a radical moment for literature, women and protest. The revolution, it seems, will be published after all.

What could possibly be the rationale of killing at least 101 Palestinians, including 27 children, after agreeing to a ceasefire? Other than pure, undiluted misanthropy?

A magical, memorable evening 💫 See you in 2025 for more @WasafiriMag events — we’re always seeking to create and offer beautiful spaces of solidarity and community within the literary landscape.
Last month, we were able to bring our 40th anniversary celebrations to a close with a fantastic event @blocqmul, with @WasafiriPhD, @susheila_nasta, and @SansyG. Here’s a sneak peak, before we share the full conversation over on YouTube. Keep your eyes peeled!

Thread 🧵 on so much that is wrong in film ‘journalism’ @bressonian curated the most brilliant season with care and attention to detail for that to not be acknowledged and failure to see the wider context is appalling!
If you are writing about a film season that someone has taken the time & effort to curate then it might be a good idea to contact the curator. I'm pretty sure they will be able to provide invaluable broader context and have something to say about the films they have curated.
