4/It's noteworthy to add that the original 1963 X-Men series was not very successful & was cancelled after issue #66 in 1970. It took 5yrs of reprinting the same 1-66 issues before a new era of X-Men would eventually be created & rise above all other Marvel teams and comic sales.

3/The original cover art (B&W image) featured Xorak the Outcast but was deemed too terrifying in accordance with the CCA, so the artist was forced to redraw. This era of history had a moral panic due to a book putting fear outlined within the pages of Seduction of the Innocent.

2/The 1960's was a different world in terms of censorship. It was robbed from the laughs spawned from the type of @StashInu & @TheNippies creations. So much so that when looking back on this Comics Code Authority (CCA) example, it's hard to understand how this could be true.

One of my Fave DRiP collections is currently on its last Spades suit season. Completely missed the 1st Hearts suit season, but I’m such a fan of these physicals that Stefan has created. The quality is quite amazing from card itself to card holder.
