I think the big problem is when the GOP lost to Obama folks like Steele said the party had to be burned down and rebuilt, but, there wasn't an overarching question Republicans were asking about who they are. They simply lost and said they would regroup. Dems are trying to define.
Democrats have shit-all for power in DC right now; barely nothing; yet I still sense the Republicans feel weak. Everyone treats them like they're so strong, the media, particularly, but they seem weak to me. Do they to you? If they seem weak: Seize on that. Make them weaker.

Negative job growth is definitely a bad sign. By all means blast out Trump Slump. But, perspective: For 3/23 to 3/24 we had to revise downward 818K and another 911K downward for 3/24-3/25. So for just the 2nd half of Biden presidency job growth was overstated by 1.72M jobs.
