Mrs. Geingos spoke on the vision for the future, which includes establishing the Dr Hage G. Geingob Presidential Centre and also expansion into Africa through the creation of the Leadership Lab Yetu in Kigali, where young people from across the continent will learn and lead.

13,217 young people accessed healthcare from Jan-July 2025. 9,200 meals served between Feb–June 2025. But these meals come with purpose; youth participate in a programme and receive meals to nourish minds and bodies. Our youth tell us what they need. We listen. We deliver.

"Visit the #BeFree Youth Campus, and you’ll see the results," she invited. Through the clinic and psychosocial services as well as career training, self-defence, robotics, and mental health support, the Campus is where dreams turn into skills.

"In 10 years, we’ve raised N$100 million. Most of it went to infrastructure because we had to build something visible and tangible. That’s how we earned trust. That’s how we created a blueprint for impact," said Mrs Geingos. #WeavingLegacy #StitchingFutures

In her keynote address, Mrs. Geingos reminisced about staying up in the office until 03:00 to prepare for the first fundraiser in 2016. She thanked the many people who have walked this journey with the foundation since its inception. #WeavingLegacy #StitchingFutures

To end the day, President Mbumba and Mrs Geingos planted trees in honour of President Sam Nujoma. Earlier, Mrs Geingos said, “Honouring our Founding Father is honouring Hage. Hage regarded him as a father and mentor. He believed in standing on the shoulders of those before him.”

This ceremony follows the naming of the Hage G. Geingob Freeway last year and Dr Hage Geingob Street in Lusaka, Zambia, earlier this year, cementing his legacy across borders. Thank you to the Rehoboth Town Council for this heartfelt gesture. #HageGeingob84

Tomorrow, furniture will be donated to the Dr Hage Geingob High School in Windhoek, celebrating his faith in education as the great equaliser. He often said, “You cannot cheat education.”. #HageGeingob84

Earlier today, the Hage G. Geingob Presidential Centre donated food parcels to the elderly at Annelie Olivier Ouetehuis (Old Age Home) in Rehoboth, honouring Dr Geingob’s belief that “a society is judged by how it treats its most vulnerable.”. #HageGeingob84

Mayor Justin Coetzee remarked that we unveiled a legacy today. "Naming this road in our town is a declaration that his legacy lives on in our hearts. To the family, thank you for sharing him with us. His greatness was not just in his title, it was in his truth," he said.

In her keynote address Mrs Geingos shared, “This drive does not just bear his name. It bears his legacy. May every elder feel his respect, every child feel his belief in their potential, and every Namibian remember him as a man who tried his best and died trying.”. #HageGeingob84

Among the guests were the Speaker of the National Assembly Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila, Prof. Peter Katjavivi, Hardap Governor Hon. Riaan McNab, Rehoboth Mayor Justin Coetzee, ministers, local leaders, family, and friends, who all gathered to reflect on Dr Geingob's life.

Today, Mrs Monica Geingos joined former President Dr Nangolo Mbumba and invited dignitaries at the Rehoboth Sports Field for the commissioning of the Dr Hage G. Geingob Drive, on what would have been President Geingob’s 84th birthday. #HageGeingob84

The celebration was attended mainly by women and men across generations and tribes, and the President’s passionate speech touched eloquently on the need for a multidimensional and balanced approach. It was a timely reminder of the importance of leadership and representation.
