A huge thanks to @The_Tall_Ship team for inviting me for a tour. It’s amazing to see the incredible progress made over the years thanks to the hard work of the Trust. The Glenlee is truly one of Glasgow’s crown jewels and a testament to our rich maritime heritage.

Launched #OTD in 1930, at John Brown's Clydebank yard, RMS Empress of Britain. Commissioned by the Canadian Pacific Railroad Co., at the time, she was the largest ship the yard had built. Converted to a troopship, she was sunk by enemy action, off Ireland, in October 1940.
