The foundation of Cash App 1.0 is fiat already. Stablecoins are just upgraded fintech rails. Our implementation is chain and coin agnostic. We are building Cash App v2 on bitcoin. If customers want to send us stablecoins, we will happily turn them into bitcoins.

I first heard @jack talk about Moneybot (in the abstract) in a small meeting where p2p eng was demoing the primitive that became pools. We were thrilled with the simplicity of the entry point on keypad. He challenged us to imagine Cash App with no UI. Visionary stuff.

The DRI for my work on Releases was @camworboys. Every time we met he asked “what would help you go faster?” And then proceed to go deep unblocking and clearing the path on *anything.* Not micromanaging, but deeply involved in details and clear on his role to enable velocity.
@FintechKristen How much were Owen, Jack and other senior execs telling you how to work and micro managing vs. not? Curious when and how they engaged. What is the “right level” of exec engagement to drive this output? Can have a call if you don’t want to answer here.

From my humble seat as a lowly PM: - Alignment on what we were doing. A single list of what the priorities are from c-suite. - Managers as ICs. Less emphasis on coordination, more on building. - Rituals that show, not tell. Demo code every week. Including VERY rough living

When I started at Cash App, we could barely launch one major feature a quarter. The turnaround to Releases today where we have 7 major announcements and 150 improvements shipped at the same time is staggering. We are not slowing down. Acceleration only.
