Hi friends, we’re planning ahead (which we do occasionally) to CRE11 Pastels ‘Million Tears’ & we’d love to interview Bernice. So far we’ve had no luck finding her to ask, perhaps you know someone who knows someone who knows her quite well?

Thinking about how Lawrence didn’t even bother with another guitarist after Deebank & instead got Martin Duffy the Deebank of the keyboard in, 2 perfect eras of a perfect band.

https://t.co/KoYh9X6Vsj Against all odds we made good on our Patreon promise! These bonus episodes will focus on records we like, often Creation adjacent. This one’s on The Sting-Rays ‘Behind the Beyond’ EP on Joe Foster’s Kaleidoscope Sound label

We can feel Upside Down coming like a train down the tracks, the ultimate single in the first 50, and it’s gotten in to our heads we must interview Douglas Hart for it. If any kind soul can help put us in touch...

When I was getting in to music so much of what I liked seemed very serious & cool. I looked up to it but felt outside of it as well. The Jazz Butcher was a beacon that music could be funny & still cool as hell, thanks Pat. RIP 🍻
