The Freedom From Religion Foundation is a national 501 (c)(3) non-profit with nearly 40,000 nonreligious members working to keep state and church separate.

The Freedom From Religion Foundation is deploring the brutal mob assault and arrest of 25-year-old Bijoy Debnath in Bangladesh — an appalling act of religious persecution simply because he wished “Happy Birthday” to an atheist in exile.

Wilson told the AP he believes the 19th Amendment granting women the right to vote “was a bad idea.”. “If we succeed, this will be Christian America 2.0,” Wilson wrote in 2022. We cannot let them succeed.

No one should be beaten, jailed, or silenced for wishing a friend a happy birthday — atheist or otherwise. FFRF joins the call for the immediate and unconditional release of Bijoy Debnath and for protection of all persecuted for their beliefs or nonbelief.
In Sitakunda, Chattogram, Hindu youth Bijoy Debnath was brutally beaten by local NCP terrorists, handed over to the police, and falsely charged. His only so called crime was posting a birthday wish for me on his Instagram story. Since I am a non religious person, the Yunus

This isn't just an attack on LGBTQ rights—it’s part of a larger attempt to roll back all of our hard-won civil liberties. FFRF stands with those who cherish personal freedom and the separation of church and state.

Government officials shouldn’t be giving “all glory to God” or promoting one religion over others. The First Amendment protects everyone’s rights, including the right to be free from government-imposed religion.
All glory to God!. “Christ on the Water” is out of the basement. Work will continue to get it fully restored and back into a place of prominence. To our amazing men and women at @UsmmaO — religious expression is something we celebrate, not condemn.

Religious freedom is not secured by government-mandated prayer or Ten Commandments displays — it’s defiled by them. The Constitution protects each student’s right to decide for themselves what to believe, free from state-imposed religion.
As kids head back to school, Texas parents can have confidence that their values are protected. By allowing prayer and incorporating the 10 Commandments into classrooms, religious freedom is secure in Texas public schools.

Putting “faith at the center” of government is exactly what the Establishment Clause was designed to prevent. True religious freedom can’t exist in a nation that privileges one religion over all others — or over nonreligion.
The president's faith adviser, pastor Paula White-Cain, proclaimed that in his administration, faith “has been brought back to where it always belongs, and that is center.”. Critics say the president is eroding the separation of church and state.

“There’s going to be bodies in the street before it’s all over,” warns former FDA head Dr. Janet Woodcock. RFK Jr.’s war on vaccines is not just anti-science — it’s deadly. Public health shouldn’t be sacrificed to conspiracy or theocracy.

While many officials and scientists embrace other parts of the secretary’s agenda, his stance on vaccines is alienating allies who fear a public health crisis.
