Congratulations to Jo Luxton who was re-elected to Parliament this week. Jo’s been a great friend to Feds over the years and our board really enjoyed catching up with her in Wellington yesterday.

'Emissions leakage' in a graph. NZ dairy/red meat production is already more emissions efficient than the global average, so when we produce less because of the Zero Carbon Bill’s emissions targets, other less efficient countries will supply the market = higher global emissions.

Good interview with the incoming Agriculture, Forestry and Trade Minister Todd McClay. Priorities before Christmas are halting the extreme regional council freshwater plans that are coming in response to David Parkers 2020 rules and a trade mission to India.
