@ColtonBaxter17 You 100% interpret this correctly. Some members of Team Tank are freaking out when ownership or GM says “we aren’t interest in trading player.” But ownership and GM are just playing negotiation games with other GM’s in a public space. They’re saying “I’m not desperate to deal.”

This trend started because your football team sucks. Back on Labour Day 1994, the Stampeders took warmup in red jerseys, then switched to black jerseys when the game started. Since then, the Stamps have won 75% of their games (mostly versus EDM and SASK) in those black jerseys.

Maybe the 30-35% line is more reasonable than the 15% that Trump wants. It seems like the metaphorical monopoly board was more balanced and function back in the 70’s and 80’s before cutting taxes for Park Place and Boardwalk was the universal solution to all of life’s problems.

Mathew Wood, Oliver Moore, Charlie Stramel, Gabe Perreault played 2024-25 in the NCAA. Brandon Yager, Colby Barlow played 2024-25 in the CHL junior. Honzek’s 2024-25 season against men in the AHL actually puts him AHEAD of schedule compared to his peers.
@wincolumnCGY I’m not sure how you can say “Honzek has not quite met most of our expectations” What exactly were your expectations? Maybe your expectations were wrong. Compared to the rest of the 2023 draft, Honzek is right on schedule. He isn’t Bedard, but at 16th, his NHL stats are normal.

Suniev takes the same path as Coronato. Jump into the Flames at the end of the season to burn a year off of his ELC. It’s an incentive to sign with the team that drafted him.
@qQueueCue @RyanNPike Treliving was afraid that if you let Coronato play a 3rd year of college, he would just walk into free agency. So BT signed Matt after his D+2 year & let Matt play NHL games which burned yr #1 off his ELC. Now Matt is a RFA a year early. Zary is older, but they are RFAs together.
