Hurricane Erin is going through an eyewall replacement cycle. This is where the strongest winds forms outside the old eye, forming a new one. This can strengthen or weaken a hurricane, my guess is this will strengthen Erin back to a Cat 5. #HurricaneErin

NHC highlighted another area to watch - right behind Hurricane Erin. Low chance, GFS picks it up, but EURO has it MIA. Like every meteorologist says, a forecast that far out is inaccurate. It's hurricane season, so models create scenarios that could be gone the next run. #chswx
