Not true! We Andhra and Telangana people drink lots of milk. I grew up on milk and butter- still my favorite food.
Only the north-west Indians can digest milk properly. The rest often lack the actual enzyme that helps you absorb milk nutrients. This tells you that uniform health advice makes no sense in India and you should probably listen to your grandma’s folk wisdom more than you do...
