Digital sovereignty, innovation and freedom of expression: Europe must also invest in its social media networks. Welcome to "W" @WsocialEU, a European initiative that will open a new space for debate and exchange in March 2026 🇪🇺 https://t.co/v319P9eeO5

We believe in the need for a global, trusted social media platform owned, run, and hosted in Europe. W is built on verified human users, transparency, privacy, and free speech.

Google and Apple are both playing coy on this airdrop story because it’s an unhelpful narrative if a European regulation is seen as producing better consumer outcomes globally, but let’s be clear: that’s exactly what’s going on here. @arstechnica the only one w/this context.
Sharing moments shouldn’t depend on the phone you have. Starting today with the Pixel 10 family, Quick Share now works with AirDrop, making secure file transfers between Android phones and iPhones more seamless. This builds on our commitment to cross-OS compatibility to bridge

I made an editable version in Google Sheets, if you also want to become the greatest baseball player of all time: https://t.co/X7yNXWShhQ
When Shohei Ohtani was a high school freshman, he created a detailed "dream sheet" with one central goal: to be the #1 draft pick for 8 NPB (Nippon Professional Baseball) teams. It was a 64-cell roadmap based on a framework called the Harada Method. Here's exactly what Shohei

Category building is just so difficult to pull off. We tried that at @CELUM with "content supply chain management". I get that founders want to position their products as something new and innovative but most of the time it's better to disrupt an established category.
Everything I learned about strategy in building HubSpot: Watch the competition, but never follow it: I got this line from Arnoldo Hax, my strategy professor at Sloan, and repeated it so many times that it is ingrained in HubSpot’s DNA. It is relatively obvious at this point that

I like to experiment with RSS feeds but Google Discovery simply is the much better solution. How dead is RSS as a useful technology?

It's remarkable that the Austrian Armed Forces are switching to @LibreOffice. Even better: They are going to contribute to the open source project. More European authorities should follow! #digitalsovereignty

I love @vivaldibrowser for customisations, tab managements and web panels. Mail and calendar features on the other side are underwhelming and I would deprecate them. Vivaldi could have preferred partnership with mail/calendar vendor instead, like they have with @ProtonVPN.

I asked @perplexity_ai to analyse job ads in 🇩🇪 for digital marketing from B2B SaaS: Account Based Marketing is growing in importance while top skills are: Performance Marketing / Paid Ads (LinkedIn + Google), Marketing Automation & CRM, Lead Gen, and Data Analysis / KPIs.

I like @languagetool which shares a common European SaaS fate: the product is good but they have much less visibility than US counterparts like Grammarly. And I don't understand why ".org" is their main domain - for me, this TLD doesn't indicate a "serious" commercial business.

That's really something the European mind cannot comprehend. But it is also one of the - unfortunately few - advantages, because tech talent is much more affordable in Europe.
Microsoft just leaked their official compensation bands for engineers. We often forget that you can be a stable high-performing engineer with great work-life balance, be a BigTech lifer and comfortably retire with a net worth of ~$15M!

Microsoft just released their list of the 40 jobs most AI-applicable and the 40 jobs least AI-applicable. This list may have overlap with replaceability and job transformation. (Phlebotomists, you've got nothing to worry about.)

This Initiative is vital for our prosperity, the EU commission needs to be bold - not creating more fragmentation! What is your stance on this @ReinholdLopatka @SCHIEDER @HBrandstaetter @magnusbrunner?
The EU has a once-in-a-generation chance to deliver on a bold new measure with the potential to vastly improve life for scores of startup founders, operators and investors. But Europe risks Europe-ing itself out of the opportunity. https://t.co/a6MyrHoEAw
