Pollen seasons continue to get longer and more intense. A study from my colleagues in @UMichSPH, @UMISR and @UMEngineering found that high levels of certain pollen were linked to increased risk of death from breathing problems.
As climate change intensifies pollen seasons across the country, new research from @UMichSPH, @umisr and @UMengineering reveals a connection between pollen exposure and death rates among older adults with breathing problems.
