Grateful for the vision, the persistence, and the countless hours of community work that got us here. This is Calgary’s largest-ever infrastructure investment and a game-changer for the southeast. Let’s keep building a connected, sustainable city.

🚧 It’s finally happening. After more than a decade of delays, redesigns, and hard-fought advocacy, construction is officially underway on Phase 1 of the Green Line LRT. I’m frustrated it took this long—but today, I’m mostly grateful.

The introduction of the Provincial Priorities Act (Bill 18) brings new complexity. As of April 2025, all federal agreements over $100,000 must be reviewed—and in some cases, approved—by the Alberta government. 👎

"To keep critical projects moving, City Council approved $165 million for the Capital Cost Escalation Fund through 2023 and 2024...Despite the success of the fund, which has now been exhausted, cost pressures persist.😓
