beautifully said @BretWeinstein! It's crazy how we assume simple tribal alignment rather than nuance and complexity which is where I think the greatest discourses take place.
I'm rediscovering mental-bad-habits people often seem to have. Here's one: It's assumed everyone must be advocating for a known ideology. Whatever argument is made is analyzed only to discover which camp it represents. Then generic responses to that camp's position are deployed.
