It's hardest when the people who Should support you don't. You need to find the people who are in your corner and support your vision. Don't waste your energy sharing with anyone who doesn't see.

📻Radio reporting is your proof of concept. During and after your campaign, I always send you a report showing: - Which stations added your song - How many spins per week - Chart position trajectory This data = leverage for the next campaign. Save it.

What blogs actually want to see in a pitch (from a blogger): - Who are you? (2-3 sentence story, not your life history) - Why this song? (What makes it different/timely?) - LINKS not files - Don't CC us with 50 other sites. That's it. Blogs can get 50+ pitches daily. Make

Radio adds take 4-6 weeks minimum. Here's the real timeline: Week 1-2: Pitch & initial adds Week 3-4: Follow-up calls (this matters) Week 5-6: Reporting & secondary adds No follow-up? Your song dies. Radio is a relationship game.

Distribution ≠ Outreach. Distribution = uploading to Spotify, Apple, etc. Anyone can do it. Outreach = pitching blogs, getting reviews, building buzz BEFORE release. Blogs want: compelling story, unique angle, quality track. Not just "I made a song."

Before you spend $500 on promo, ask yourself: ✓ Is your mix radio-ready? (compression, levels, clarity) ✓ Do you have 3 months of content planned? (socials, behind-the-scenes) ✓ Are your links updated everywhere? (bio, links, all platforms) ✓ Do you have a press kit

Definitely doing this. Still have to reset my internet multiple times a day and have data issues...wtf @verizon
To all the people that have Verizon don’t take the $20, chat with them, ask for a live person, tell them the outage costed you monetary units. They will give you $20 off your bill for a year $240 and give you a $40 credit instead of the $20. I’m sure you can get more if you fight

It’s inexcusable to release a song or album without full credits in the metadata. Songwriters and producers depend on attribution for visibility, validation, and future opportunities. Don’t deny them. It’s deeply unprofessional.

Ever been on hold so long you forgot who/why you called when they answer? I got so used to the background music I thought I was playing it!

I love studying and re-examining my business. Lately I've been learning how to automate things to not only help me grow my business but also allow me to reclaim some of my time. It's been a trip. I'm thinking to compile some things to share what's been helping me.
