“New SuFex hub in town” from @MolDesignS! Herein we employ thiazyl fluoride as SuFex handle to access unprecedented structures! Great work spearheaded by @BingYuLi5 and ✉️@JoaDemaerel!.
Our work on thiazyl fluorides is online on @ChemRxiv: We show how S≡N triple bonded sulfur(VI) fluorides can be prepared from NSF₃ gas in typical SuFEx conditions. The real trick however was making the gas itself, which was solved by @BingYuLi5.
