Many CO students are rethinking college with soaring costs and widespread student loan debt. This education park in the works near Colorado Springs would offer a different kind of campus where they could explore vocational training while in high school.

One big takeaway from the JBC's review of.@GovofCO's budget proposal: rising concern about what programs CO can afford in the future, as federal pandemic relief dollars dry up and lawmakers try to fully fund school finance obligations. @brianeason reports:

From Monday: Rates of chronic absenteeism and dropouts have spiked in CO schools. Students drop out for many reasons. Some work to help their families. Others struggle to catch up in class once behind. What will keep kids in school?. For one, relationships.

Really excited to interview @DashkaSlater this evening about her book, "Accountable," which traces a shocking string of events stemming f/ a racist social media account created by a CA teen. I couldn't put this book down — it's powerful, enraging and yet somehow still hopeful.
