I think keeping them out of dealersden is good, but barring that, what more can we do as a fandom other than keep our sentiment pro human & pro art, and encourage ppl to support artists when they have the means? Having an idealistic approach to this just doesn’t work.

However I also haven’t seen any actual viable solutions from furries that want less cooperate involvement. Like, saying they shouldn’t exist is not a solution, and screaming at kids and young furries for buying them won’t stop them from buying the spirit masks.

Spirit Halloween mask discourse is weird to me. Bc without some level of corporatism in the fandom, we wouldn’t have hotel contracts or charity partnerships. There’s always been an acceptable level of trade offs in the fandom. At the same time, I do understand being wary about it.
