Good animation producers are fucking lifesavers. Someone whose whole job is to manage the logistics and deadlines of a project so my brain doesn't frazzle and I can just focus on one shot at a time? Actual literal superheroes. I wish I had a producer for every aspect of my life.

I enjoyed doing a lot of the swirly, flowy effects, and the smoke from the crashed ship are some of the ones I had the most fun with and am most proud of. In the full video, some parts of the smoke are obscured by other elements.

Also, just so it's clear, this asset was used for many of Bee's appearances, but by no means all of them. There's plenty of bespoke goopy hair in the episode and I don't want to claim credit or detract from the hard work the rest of the crew put into their shots!

This one took quite a while - as it turns out, animating hundreds of tiny triangles getting broken into pieces isn't a speedy process - but it was very satisfying to see it completed!

The stars were one of my favourite parts of my job. Thinking about them in 3D space was an engaging brain-teaser, while at the same time the streaks and swirls were relaxing and cathartic to animate.

This one was tricky, due to the odd curve of the camera and the movement of the ships, but it was a challenge I enjoyed, and as one of the final and most rewarding shots of the video I wanted to make sure I did it justice.

Usually on my siblings' birthdays I make appetising GIFs to celebrate their continued existence. The typical theme usually involves more faecal matter than this one but honestly the genre is overdone, so I went for a more 'infernal summoning' kind of flair.
