I think this also applies to friendships. The Bible really knew what it meant by “friends come and go but a true friend sticks by you like family” and “two are better than one for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help.
Having a partner you can talk to - really talk to - is a special kind of therapy. Someone you can be honest with: trusting their level-headedness. Without concealing anything for fear of censure, or panic. To be listened to: To be told "we'll find a way". Nothing is better.
