๐ฒ nice labels though
#CollectionCuriosities. Some plastics are melted by PDB, like this foam which used to cover the bottom of the specimen shipping box. Thankfully no specimens were harmed. #FSCA

Letโs help @Formicadri! this ๐ท associated w/ ant spcmns (Polyrhachis) in the phyletisches museum Jena, collected by J. Harms in 1929. Where is the location- could it say "fusa" (is this a place?)? This sample might be from SE Asia as it was in a container w/ vials from Indonesia

@EntoTranslator Hey ento twitter. Quick question: are Lao-Kay, Lร o Cai, and Tonkin all in the same province in Vietnam? No picture just different names in some taxonomic literature for the same species.

Can someone help our dear friend @knudson_h figure out to where this label refers?
@EntoTranslator I can read this label, but don't know what it means๐
it's from a #Tingidae specimen in the USNM. I suppose #SouthAmerica somewhere.

Hey @EntoTranslator You'll be hearing a lot from me soon, we're cleaning some of the label "dregs" with some fun handwriting. This one might be from Asia and the first line is the species name, Polycaena timur.

Hey all! Letโs help @rachl_hawk solve this mystery label! It belongs to a Satyrus ferula ferula specimen, but she can't figure out the third word. It says "France Savoie / [illegible] 20.7.25"
