Pokemon Showdown is so unfriendly for mobile gaming. It’s too hard to keep track of multiple tabs on mobile, and some people keep taking too damn long to lock in their moves.

Having to advocate in order to be recognized is frustrating and drains a lot of energy. I don’t think I’ll ever really know what the best course of action would be for myself: but today I’m taking an extra moment of silence to remember the lives lost to senseless violence.

Since Oct 7th, it’s felt strange remembering Tree of Life Pittsburgh Synagogue. With today marking 6 yrs. On one hand I remember how much the city came together, and on the other hand I remember the feeling of isolation that now exists at times in my Jewish community spaces.

I’m disappointed by some comments I've seen floating around. Anti-Zionism becomes antisemitism when a witch hunt starts to exempt us for being Jews either born in Israel, or with family here. Team Israel WCOP actually has Israelis! And we won’t stand for antisemitic behavior.

I loved @NBDwee recapping 2009 Worlds with the “you had to be there” line at the end. Silly things on stream and letting us old heads be old heads is makes me happy

When it comes to recent Nicholas Cage films, I’d have to say that The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent > Dream Scenario too. But come on, the combination of Cage and Pedro Pascal was great

Dream Scenario reminded me of Being John Malkovich, as a whole it wasn’t quite on that same level, but those types of weird films where the actors carry their weight that take an absurd premise to it’s limits are great. And I’m just glad that these films exist.

Even though not all of the A24 films are the best hits, I constantly appreciate how they’re letting us see different movies that probably otherwise wouldn’t hit the big screen/streaming. If anyone has any recommendations for movies, I’m always interested

Iranian Drones are incoming throughout the night, and it’s stressful. Didn’t quite think that Iran would actually follow through with this, and it’s going to be a long night, I’ll probably head to shelter soon enough

It's really hard to keep VGC Players around for the finals of every other game. I appreciate that no one needs an early morning on Sunday from VG, but please have something at the venue. If there are some no-shows for Pokemon Center make it possible to take up the timeslot?

Not having a MSS or a big prize side event like a Switch or EUIC Backpack and TCG Packs/Boxes, or whatever else, kind of left the venue feeling rather empty on Sat & Sunday.
