@Welshpower1 and @ESBNetworks were the first to submit planning applications *a year ago* for greenfield syncons. Of 7 applications submitted between us, only 2 have been granted planning so far. The amount of time planning takes is a major risk for these projects. (3/3)

Having developed 4 of these projects, my view is that developers are taking a lot of risk locating projects in inappropriate places so good for Renfrewshire for having a backbone and refusing permission in the face of essential infrastructure arguements. (2/3)
