To further clarify: CSS has two "types": Coding (Core) and Design. Two different owners: Oracle for the first, Adobe for the second. The CSS we're referring to here is the Core CSS. https://t.co/bBLlFBZf2T
My partner is now explaining website coding to me with Minecraft references. 😂 CSS Core: Redstone (the programming part) CSS [#]: Decorations HTML: The surrounding biome CSS Core is always the same as HTML versions, and CSS [#] is usually a version number lower.

To expand on this: CSS 3 and 4 don't play nicely when it comes to color picking. That's where the color shifting is coming into play.

He then took the time to poke into their CSS code; from what he can tell, they're still running 3+4. Modern websites are running CSS 5. This isn't news to anyone affected (we all know it's an issue), but it's nice to formally have a name for it, I guess?

So I've been kvetching at my partner about the #RavelryAccessibility issues on @ravelry. When I brought up the eyestrain and migraine issues (including mine), he stared at me for a second. "That's 'white emission shifting' where colors shift rapidly across the screen (3x/sec)."

I really don't want to face the fact that I'm not going to get my hood for my doctorate because my university is having in-person graduation and I can't justify going, even if I am vaccinated. I hate this reality right now.

For all my crafty peeps: I have someone (outside of Twitter) asking for recommendations/things to watch for on embroidery machines. Any advice/suggestions? 🤔 I only do hand embroidery when I do, so I'm not much help to them.

I have a group of players that have allowed me to sit and gently guide the session and while they are far more chaotic than our sessions ever were, I now understand the joy that @ReverendP4in experiences.

You know what would be really nifty? One centralized location all your tax forms are stored in PDF form so you can pull them up easily without having to sort through 37 folders and stacks of paper. ....yes I'm a bit of a messy paperwork person, lol.

I have a knit sweater I’ve been working on lately, but I’ve reached a point where I’m supposed to split for sleeves and my counts are way wonky. I can’t figure out what I borked. Trying to decide if I can frog (undo) it or troubleshoot and add rows.
