East Community Nursing team having a meditation session led by our lovely Hannah. A wonderful 10 minutes to just stop and be in the moment amongst the chaos. Hannah always looking after staff wellbeing ❤️ @livewellsw

I can’t tell you how insanely proud I am of you em. Life threw you every curveball possible and you still came out with your pin, which shows how dedicated you are. You were an amazing student and you’ll be an even better nurse 🫶🏼 cheers to you em 🥂

My grandad had a cardiac arrest in the corridor and died. This was not a failure of the amazing team who tried to get him back for us🫶🏼 this is a failure of the system, staffing levels, hospital beds, lack of primary care support preventing discharge. Change needs to happen 💪🏼

Megan is an absolute ASSET to our team. As a preceptee, having someone with such advanced knowledge to escalate complex patients to is so valuable. DNSP’s are wonderful ❤️

I have never felt more appreciated in nursing like I have in 9 months of community. The team, the management, the patients and their families sending such lovely messages honestly is such a moral boost. I truly feel like I landed on my feet 🥹❤️

I’ve always said it doesn’t matter where you work but the team that you work with. However, I have to say I love where I work and the team. 7 months qualified and fast approaching the end of my preceptee programme 🫶🏼

This week I’ve been qualified as a community registered nurse for 6 months. It’s been the most amazing journey, I learn so much every day. I’m so pleased I decided to join primary care 🫶🏼

Investment in primary care would reduce demand on acute care, subsequently improving patient experience in both primary and acute settings 👏🏼👏🏼

4 months qualified and I’m signed off to autonomously manage chest drains, syringe drivers, injectable medications, compression, wound care and more.. and they say you deskill in community nursing 🧐

Today I got to do a pleural drain, a verification of death alongside wound care and injectable medications. This is a note for any student nurses who love community but are worried you’ll deskill - you won’t!🫶🏼🫶🏼

I’ve loved seeing all the third years having a good start to their placements. 3rd year placements were by far my favourite 🫶🏼 the home stretch 👏🏼
