2/2 the EU ten years beforehand, don't you think that would be considered undiplomatic and unconstructive? And frankly rude?

If Baldwin is after MacDonald (ie picture sequenced by his last ministry), and Churchill is after Attlee, surely Wilson should be after Heath? But he isn't. Did the No.10 people make a mistake when rehanging them all after the trauma of adding Truss?

@NayV99 @hzeffman So what do you get of your priorities? Less nuclear than Labour want, less (ie no) PR or rejoining EU than LibDems want. Basically, you’re not getting what you want or what Labour wants or what the LibDems want. The idea that noone gets their policy is a good outcome is defeatist

A spectacularly unwise, petulant and self-defeating statement from this clown. The whips should have a serious word with Blunt

Yet another thread where Leavers commiserate with each other about the burden of being smarter, more knowledgeable, more caring and generally better than everyone else. Oh wait, sorry, they’re Remainers

You have to hand it to John McDonnell. He’s Old School. Everyone else is talking about Christmas, Fishing Quotas, lockdown tiers or vaccines. He’s on a picket line. #winterofdiscontent

Joined ⁦@unitetheunion⁩ online picket line rally for Rolls Royce workers in Barnoldswick today. This company is betraying its workers and this community by shipping these workers’ jobs abroad, especially after receiving billions in taxpayer support. #BattleforBarnoldswick

Excellent piece. Mumbling “Like the Nazis” misses the point...for now. A thought-provoking piece comparing China, less fashionably, with Wilhelmine Germany

In which the BBC muses on whether the media are unduly negative about the UK and COVID. Yes, the BBC. 🙄

The negative headlines come thick-and-fast, but there are also signs the UK is on top of the virus.
