I find it quite hard to believe that notoriously shy Victoria Beckham would instigate a sex dance on her son at his wedding, in front of everyone. I'm sure they are fairly controlling parents (their brand depends on control) and he has a point, but this part seems pretty unlikely

If I was Brooklyn Beckham I would avoid any further potentiallly problematic family situations by simply cringing myself to death immediately

Get ready, all you lonely girls, and leave those umbrellas at home.

Watching S2 of The Night Manager. And as with the first series, I have very little clue what's going on. It's the same with most thrillers on telly. I tune out for certain bits that are technical and boring and then tune back in and watch like I've downed a bottle of sherry.

Is there a less edifying political commentator than Tim Montgomerie

I feel for the American people. What a time to be alive and a US citizen with that loon in charge.

I've still not watched a single episode of the Traitors. Thus far, I am still alive and functioning in a way that is more or less normal.

Having recently broken my arm (loose paving stone), this weather and slippery ground is pure hell. I went out and a fit of trauma overwhelmed me and I had to lean against a wall to calm myself down. Seriously, some grit on the pavements would be appreciated. @haringeycouncil

Helen Mirren's performance in #GoodbyeJune is just so good - made me well up many times, and remember my own mother a long time ago, smiling like a tiny bird in hospital at the end of her life. That's a wave of grief I wasn't expecting to feel. Didn't want it, but here it is

Got to hand it to Harlan Coben, the scripts for his Netflix series manage to make generally esteemed actors look like members of a village am-dram collective. I've watched several of the shows and they have been on the whole ludicrously hammy.

Just watched Amandaland. Funny and reminded me quite a bit of visiting my eccentric relatives as a child (minus the big old country estate house).

Heard Nicky Haslam on the radio this morning. I used to find him amusing, but he's now just a bit of a boorish posho. He said he thought Nadine Dorries was an extremely kind woman. Which has not been on my bingo card for her, I must say.

I could never have a magnificent body like Kelly Brooke's, genetically impossible, nor her beautiful face. Sorry, but she's objectively a gorgeous woman.

Maybe it's just me, but normalising that this is what a 70-year-old woman should look like is so depressing. Telling us that to accept ageing is wrong, that if we don't look like this when we reach 70 then we're unsightly and need to be fixed. It's a form of misogyny.

Just ate my lunch watching The Feud on ITV, it was out a while ago, and it sounded quite good. It's dull AF and the writing is dire. Those poor actors having to wade through that stilted crap. My lunch was nice, tho

When I went away to boarding school in the 70s, my Rupert Bear books and my Rupert the Bear money box were things of great comfort. I had a period of obsession with Rupert and the TV show, which along with Trumpton were my absolute faves. Happy birthday, Rupert, and thanks.

I'm glad that David Lammy has messed up so spectacularly. It properly exposes him as completely unfit for a high-profile government role. His short temper and arrogance is offensive. Yes, of course we should have diversity in the cabinet, but competence is more important.
